How can the Vastu of a property facing west be improved?

If you think that a house that faces west is automatically going to be Vastu-friendly, you’re wrong. If you follow certain Vastu guidelines, west-facing properties can be a blessing. Corrections can be made from the entry to various rooms and throughout the rest of the house. In this day and age, we are all striving to become successful and strong. Brimming with positive vibes, a supportive home/work environment is essential for a happy and prosperous life.

According to Vastu’s rules, all directions are equal for the house orientation. However, western-facing houses are the third choice of people, with north and east-facing houses being the second and third choices respectively. One of the reasons why west-facing houses are less popular is the misconception that all west-facing houses are bad according to Vastu! West-facing homes can be just as good as north or east-facing houses if and only if they adhere to a particular west-facing house vastu plan! Vastu in the western-facing house plays a vital role in the creation of positive energy. Numerous scientific studies in this field have shown that a positive environment and positive vibes contribute to the maximum success of an individual.

One of the main benefits of a west-facing house is that the people living there can enjoy the warmth and light of the sun even in the evening. Many people believe that a house facing west brings prosperity and wealth to the people living there. This is especially true for politicians, business people, religious leaders, and teachers. The main door of a western-facing house can be found in either of the Padas. Padas 5 and Padas 6 are the Padas on the west side from the northwest side. The west side of a house, which is the length from the northwest corner of the house to the southwest corner of the house, is divided into 9 equal parts, each of which is called a pada (or step). The north-west pada is the first and the south-west pada the ninth.

Tips for Entering a West-Facing Property:

Avoid entering the 7th, 8th, and 9th Padas on the west side: Padas 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th are best suited for the entrance or main entrance of a west-facing property. If you can’t have your front door in those directions, try to have it in the 1st or 2nd Pada. It’s a good idea to consider adding some metalwork to your main door such as a metal bell or name plate. Also, make sure to remove any dustbins or broken furniture near the main door.

Kitchen placement: Never have a kitchen on the southwest side of the house. Put it on the south-east side or north-west side. If possible, put the cooktop facing the east as it is thought best to face east while cooking.

Bathroom / Toilet placement: Bathroom Vastu for a west-facing house emphasizes having a bathroom or bathroom in any direction other than southwest. A bathroom in the south-west is attracting negative energy. Bore well placement: Never find a bore well or a water sump on the southwest side of the home. Open space and extensions in a west-facing house: Never buy a plot or flat with an extension in the south or southwest direction. Don’t buy a plot that’s higher in the north than in the south. Keep the floor of the west-facing home higher than the east. Keep less open space at the front of the west-facing plot.

Placement of a puja room in a western-facing house: The best and most auspicious location for a puja room is northeast, followed by east and north, in a western-facing home. The puja room should never be close to the bathroom /toilet. If your home is small, you can put the deities in your living room/kitchen by marking a small area. Buying a western-facing home does not have to be a hassle. Use these guidelines to choose the right property. Ask an expert to help you turn your home into a place full of positive energy all day long.
