Bhandup, Ghatkopar, Kanjurmarg, Kurla, Mulund, Nahur, Powai, Thane, Vidyavihar, and Vikhroli are all located in East Mumbai. Chembur, Govandi, Mankhurd, Trombay, and Wadala are located to the southeast.Salsette Island is home to the city of Mumbai.

The principal road connectors connecting the Eastern and Western neighborhoods are the Andheri-Ghatkopar Link Road, the Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road (JVLR), and the Andheri-Kurla Road. The Santa Cruz – Chembur Link Road (SCLR) connects Santa Cruz and Chembur and was finished in April 2014.Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport provides bus services (BEST). Ghatkopar, Mulund, and Vikhroli all have bus stations.
Social Amenities
It features a well-developed social infrastructure, which includes residential, commercial, sporting, and educational facilities. Pools, spas, private theatres, courts, fully equipped gyms, gardens, and fine dining restaurants are driving up demand for residential buildings in the eastern suburbs. The Tata Institute of Social Science, Diamond Garden, and the Dr. Ambedkar Garden are among the many attractions. Petroleum Corporation Limited, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, The Tata Power Company Limited, and others make the eastern line a well-known IT and software center. RK studios are located in Chembur for all Bollywood enthusiasts.
