The Navi Mumbai Metro Line 1 will be operational by the end of March
The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO), Navi Mumbai’s nodal body for improvement, has issued Maha Metro (Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited) a Letter of Acceptance for the operation and renovation of Navi Mumbai Metro Line 1 for ten years.
After appointing Maha Metro to assist with the engineering of metro line 1, CIDCO has granted Maha Metro a Letter of Acceptance to operate and renovate this line. As a result, the paintings on this line will be completed promptly, allowing passenger service to commence as soon as possible. My priority is to give all infrastructure efforts a high priority.
According to a press release from Maha Metro, the line’s stability painting is already underway. In February 2021, CIDCO, the organization in charge of the Navi Mumbai Metro project, reached an agreement with Maha Metro to complete the Navi Mumbai Metro Line 1 stability painting.
This line, which runs from Belapur to Pendhar, has eleven stations, an eleven-kilometer track, a Taloja depot for refurbishment, and traction sub-stations at Panchanand and Kharghar. Work on this line is in full swing and is expected to be completed in 2022.
Maha Metro is working on a metro train project in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra’s third-largest city. The Nagpur Metro Phase-I is partially operating, with work on the final stretches expected to be completed by the end of 2021. The Pune Metro Phase-I project is also moving along at a rapid rate.
The Nasik Metro project, which was developed utilizingMaha Metro, is awaiting approval from the Union Cabinet. It further added that Maha Metro, led by Managing Director Brijesh Dixit, will soon launch metro rail projects in four cities. It has also arranged the Thane and Warangal Metros’ defined assignment reports (DPRs).
Maha Metro has also published key officers in Navi Mumbai and has taken over the role of Engineer on a fee basis, according to the announcement. It was decided to rate the road in levels, and numbers 7 to eleven have been taken up on a worry basis as a key segment painting among stations.
Maha Metro has completed the remaining song artwork, and the tune is now completely laid out. The installation of overhead equipment (OHE) on an eleven-kilometer track has already been completed. Forgoing for walks on the trains for testing, fine-tuning has begun.
All metro trains are inspected within the depot; hence a 1-kilometer check song is provided. Trains were evaluated on the main line up to Central Park Station, and routine inspections are being carried out on the mainline for the permission of the Research Design and Standards Organization (RDSO), an Indian Railways project.
