Rajasthan builders greet government’s move to extend stamp duty till March 2023

Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Wednesday announced the rebate of stamp duty. Bringing a ray of hope for the pandemic stricken real estate sector.

The real estate sector suffered a major debacle after the pandemic, the state government’s decision to extend the date of the rebate till March 2023 of 2% stamp tax. This decision has been taken in view of the state of the real estate business in Rajasthan.

The builder community is delighted with the announcement applicable to units in multi-storey projects under 50 lakhs. As the real estate industry pegged high hopes on the recovery after a year of minimal to no business.
