All to know about Chambal Expressway
Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways and MSME evaluated the planned Chambal Expressway project through video conferencing on July 4, 2020. Shivraj Singh Chauhan, the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, Narendra Singh Tomar, the minister of agriculture, and BJP representative Jyotiraditya Scindia were all present on this occasion.
Rapid environmental clearance, land purchase, and exemptions from adjacent taxes and royalties were stressed by the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways and MSME to complete the project. Even a significant work possibility will be offered.
The Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan states will be connected by the six-lane Chambal Expressway. Because it may be built beside the Chambal River, it is referred to as the Chambal Expressway. Through the districts of Sheopur and Morena, the throughway will connect Kota in Rajasthan with Etawah in Uttar Pradesh. The projected throughway is worth Rs. 8,250 crores.
The projected 404 km long throughway offers a possible route from Kanpur to Kota through Madhya Pradesh before joining the Delhi Mumbai circuit. As previously established, the projected Chambal Expressway will be 404 kilometers overall, with 309 kilometers in MP, 78 kilometers in Rajasthan, and 17 kilometers in Uttar Pradesh.
– The projected Chambal Parkway might be a game-changer for tribal tribes and the residents of remote areas, especially in the Chambal area, which is said to be the most underdeveloped region in the nation.
– Farmers from all three states—MP, Rajasthan, and UP—may also benefit the most since they would be able to send their goods to marketplaces in Delhi and Mumbai.
– It would help the Madhya Pradesh department of Chambal industrialize and improve.
– In Indore, Jabalpur, and Jaipur, multimodal logistics parks may be found where logistics parks can be established.
– The parkway may potentially create a significant amount of job opportunities in those neighborhoods and other areas.
