It’s located to the east of Chennai. The Adyar River flows through Saidapet. Some of the closest residential areas to Saidapet are Karpaga Vinayak Nagar, CIT Nagar West, Ambedkar Nagar, Guindy, and Kalaimagal Nagar. These are within a 3- to 4-kilometer radius. Saidapet has a decent mix of single-family homes and multi-story apartment buildings. The nearest airport to the area is Chennai International Airport, which is roughly 9 kilometres away. The Saidapet Metro Station on the Chennai Metro’s Blue Line is about 2 kilometres away.
