Greater Noida will get ‘no dues’ certificates for properties online

With the GNIDA (Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority) all set to start a trial run of a self-service scheme, the industries, and residents in Greater Noida will soon be able to get the no dues certificate online for their properties. The self-service scheme will be held in Ecotech sectors 11 and 10 with 400 industrial allotments.

According to the GNIDA officials, if this scheme turns out to be successful, it will be first executed on the industrial allotments and then on the institutional, commercial, and residential segments. This will be placed under the ‘end-user category’.

As this software technology is developed by Tech Mahindra, it allows allottees to use the no due certificate online after the submission of documents with just a click. This technology is also well-versed with net banking facilities. The system helps in reducing the processing time and ensures greater autonomy. Whereas, the manual procedure takes two days.

The officials said that this technology won’t be offered to builders or developers to avoid defaulters. Narendra Bhooshan, the CEO of GNIDA said that the manual file generation is stopped under the Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP) and the officials have started the e-filing of documents. For the betterment of allottees, the Authority is taking one more step towards the self-service model. They will begin with the entrepreneurs of Ecotech 10 and then move on to the entrepreneurs of Ecotech 11.
