Here’s All About Ghaziabad Development Authority
Ghaziabad is one of the most popular asset investment destinations in the National Capital Region. Over the years, the city’s infrastructure has improved rapidly. The Ghaziabad Development Body is the city’s planning authority.
It has played a vital role in modernizing infrastructure and implementing various development projects in the town and other districts under its control. It is in charge of acquiring property, developing housing projects, and providing social infrastructure facilities in the Ghaziabad district. Ghaziabad, Loni, Murad Nagar, and Modi Nagar make up the improvement region under the control of the Ghaziabad Development Authority, or GDA. Nine villages in the Gautam Budh Nagar district, which falls under the Greater Noida Authority’s Authority, have recently been excluded from the Greater Noida improvement zone and are now protected under the GDA improvement region.
The Ghaziabad Development Authority offers a variety of housing options, including low-cost housing for those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and those in the intermediate income bracket. The Authority sells houses built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana under the Ghaziabad Housing Scheme 2021. Under the program, around 13,500 additional units will be available.
The Authority has implemented a “first come, first served” policy in its ten housing developments. This project protects 2,134 properties, including 5 Madhuban Bapudham pocket homes inside the district, Mandakini, and Alaknanda Apartments in Vaishali, Indraprastha Yojna, Chandrasheela Yojna, Koel Enclave, and Sanjaypuri Yojna in Modinagar. According to the GDA, this initiative will produce sales of Rs 750 crores.
The Ghaziabad Development Authority has also expedited the costs of dwellings under the Samajwadi Awas Yojana and the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, which are both parts of the lower-cost housing plan. In addition, the costs of dwellings under the PM Awas Yojana have been increased from Rs 4.55 lakhs to Rs 6 lakhs for a residence.
The district’s draught Master Plan 2031 has been organized by the Ghaziabad Development Authority. The Authority is concerned about the plan’s execution. The GDA planned to call a board meeting for the Meerut divisional commissioner and GDA chairperson to adopt the Master Plan 2031 by March 2022. Sending the draught master plan to the country’s authorities for approval and inviting individuals to submit their complaints might be part of the approval process. By July 2022, the program is expected to revert to its previous status.
