  1. Bhopal

The smart town Bhopal was given the top spot in the most recent assessment for 2022 by the Union Ministry of Housing and Concrete Affairs. The project’s driving force, Agra Smart City Ltd, has outlined a thoroughly defined strategic strategy to realize its audacious objectives. There are 89 initiatives, 42 sub-goals, and 9 main goals in all. Agra wants to increase citizens’ access to education and healthcare to improve social sustainability. Additionally, they want to improve the situation in slums by redeveloping those areas and building better infrastructure for them.

With almost 2.3 million residents, the largest city in Andhra Pradesh is a popular tourist destination because of its abundance of beaches and natural attractions. It also has one of India’s busiest shipping ports, which contributes to its impressively expanding economy.

The installation of solar panels, efficient electrical networks, clever trash management, expansion of municipal parks, and creation of new green spaces are some of the innovative strategies the town has employed in the pursuit of environmental sustainability.
