Mapping the Progress: Government’s Update on 76% Land Map Digitization in India!
According to the Ministry of Rural Development, 76% of land maps in India have been digitized as of August 11, 2023. This is part of the Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP), which is a government initiative to digitize land records across the country.

The DILRMP has four components:

The DILRMP has been successful in digitizing land records in many states. However, there is still more work to be done. The government aims to digitize 100% of land records in the country by 2023.
