Pune Metro’s Journey to Expansion!

The Pune Metro is a rapid transit system serving the city of Pune, India. The system is currently under construction, with two lines operational and two more lines under construction.

New operations

Fares

The Pune Metro fares are based on the distance traveled. The minimum fare is Rs. 10 and the maximum fare is Rs. 50.

Future plans

The Pune Metro is currently expanding, with two more lines under construction:

  • Line 3: Hinjewadi – Shivajinagar (23.3 km)
  • Line 4: Pimpri Chinchwad – Dapodi (10 km)

The two new lines are expected to be completed by 2026.
