Several affordable housing complexes have also been constructed in the region as part of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).

Hadapsar, located off National Highway (NH) 65 in East Pune, is well-known for its industrial and information technology (IT) centres. It is a well-developed neighbourhood with “solid infrastructure,” “well-lit streets,” and “frequent police patrols that ensures a low crime rate and adds to the safety factor,” according to reviews. The average price of a property in Hadapsar is roughly Rs 7,100 per square foot. Apartments with two bedrooms are the most popular, with monthly rental costs ranging from Rs 19,000 to Rs 25,000. Almost 95% of the residential stock for sale in Hadapsar is prepared for relocation.

  1. Wakad, Pune

Wakad is a growing region featured in the Smart City concept, located near NH-48. “Wakad is a quiet neighborhood with rare incidences of theft or crime reported,” says Siddh Adhav, Owner of Global Realtors. Nonetheless, power outages are common during the summer.” Wakad flats are priced at Rs 7,700 per square foot, with monthly rates ranging from Rs 17,000 to 30,000. When the new road to Hinjewadi is finished, traffic flow in the region will be simplified, raising the area’s prominence even higher. Around 75% of the entire stock offered for sale in Wakad is ready for possession. Among the developers present are Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd, VTP Realty, and Goel Ganga Projects.
