Telangana plans two more recycling plants to handle construction waste
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation is constructing two Construction and Demolition (C&D) waste recycling plants, one in each of the city’s southern and northern areas.
The city body has issued a request for proposals, urging businesses to build a recycling facility on their own site. The property piece must be at least five acres in size, and the deadline to participate in the smooth system is February 21.
These plants may be related to the two plants found in Jeedimetla and Fathullaguda. Currently, around 1,500 metric tonnes to 2,000 metric tonnes of particles are created each day inside the GHMC boundaries, and this trash is recycled utilizing the two C&D plants.
According to a press release from the GHMC, approximately 11.58 lakh metric tonne of waste has been accrued and 2.94 lakh metric tonne has been processed at the Jeedimetla C&D plant, while 7.41,000 metric tonne of waste has been accrued and 0.51 lakh metric tonne has been processed at the Fathullaguda C&D plant. Both facilities are capable of recycling 500 metric tonnes of particles each day.
Humans must phone 18001201159 to turn off the particles, as per protocol. If the garbage is transported to Jeedimetla, a tipping cost of Rs 350.59 in step with metric tonne can be charged, and if the rubbish is delivered to Fathullaguda, a tipping price of Rs 342.59 in step with metric tonne can be charged.
