The South Delhi’s Civic bodies launches a scheme for Real-time project monitoring
On Wednesday, South Delhi Mayor Mukesh Suryan, who introduced the scheme with Municipal Commissioner Gyanesh Bharti, stated that ‘PRICE’ would result in the effective and clear arrangement of building guesstimates.
NEW DELHI : The South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) has developed web-enabled work process apps to improve the preparation of guesstimates and the alteration and authorization of managerial and technological punishments of buildings, according to officials on Wednesday. The app is called ‘PRICE’ (Project Information and Cost Estimation).
According to the officials, estimates can now be prepared for projects under scheduled or non-scheduled heads predicated on the head of the account. Mayor Mukesh Suryan stated that the SDMC used the Central Public Works Department rate analysis (DAR) with price indicators to prepare guesstimates for civil and electrical construction jobs.
He also stated that ‘PRICE’ will support the rapid authorization of estimates, reducing delays in the issuance of managerial and technological punishments, and will make sure clarity and responsibility.
According to the commissioner, the SDMC is the only organization in the national capital that has implemented this scheme.
