The Trial Run of Navi Mumbai Metro is completed by CIDCO

On Tuesday, the 5.14-kilometer-long Navi Mumbai Metro line’s oscillation tests from Pendhar station to Central Park station were completed. A portion of Metro Line 1 from Metro Station Variety 7 to Metro Station Variety 11 would be operational through December 2021, according to plans being made by City and Industrial Building Corporation, the nodal organization for the development of Metro in Navi Mumbai.

The Emergency Breaking Distance trial and the Oscillation Trial have been completed by the Research Design and Structured Organization, and the coaches have been evaluated based on many characteristics, including velocity, weight, and breaking. The trials began on August 28 and continued through Tuesday.

The group will now submit their documentation to the Railway Safety Commissionerate for publication, after which the route may be investigated. The Security Commissionerate will thereafter announce its decision in this matter. The CIDCO and the kingdom authorities will decide whether to offer this provider to the public after acquiring the railway board’s clearance and certification.

The RDSO is a body within the Ministry of Railways that is allowed to conduct oscillation tests for metros and enforces standardization and coordination across various railway structures. The CIDCO is expanding four more corridors beneath the Navi Mumbai Metro to enable the public transportation system of Navi Mumbai to connect various nodes. In May of this year, line 1’s 11.1 km trial run, which included 11 stops and a depot at Taloja, was completed.

Therefore, Maha Metro has been chosen by CIDCO for the speedy implementation of shutting works online #1 this year. The Depot Approach Viaduct, Main Viaduct, and Depot Cum Workshop have all been painted. Work on stations, elevators, escalators, furniture, and systems is now underway. In order to ensure the safety and high quality of the trips, oscillation experiments have been carried out to assess the dynamic behavior of rolling goods or metro cars in special scenarios. The metro vehicles have also been checked to determine the braking system and suitability of the rails and the cars at various times.
