Theme of the India International Trade Fair Pavilion for Indian Railways!

IITF 2023 is being hosted by the Ministry of Railways. The 42nd edition of the India International Trade Fair is being held in New Delhi from November 14 to 27, 2023. In Hall No. 5, the Railways Ministry has established a pavilion with the theme “Changing India’s Infrastructure”, which was inaugurated by the Chairperson and CEO of the Railway Board. Taking a cue from IITF’s theme of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – United by Trade, the Railways’ pavilion showcases the journey of Indian Railways and how it has left its footprints around the world through the export of locos, coaches and DEMU trains. The pavilion also highlights the Railways’ commitment to Net Zero Carbon emissions. Various themes have been highlighted in the pavilion, showcasing the technological and structural advances of Indian Railways.

On the outer fascia, we can see the models of the trains of Vande Bharat and the design of the Jammu Tawi railway station which is inspired by Raghunath temple. We can also see the model of the Amrit Bharat station redevelopment scheme which has been implemented for 1309 railway stations all over the country. The models in the railway pavilion are: the USBRL project (Katra-botanical section) The proposed Surat railway station on the national high-speed railway project Vande Berat Trains Pamban bridge vertical girders Bogibeel bridge Darjeeling Himalayan railway Under each segment of the railway pavilion, you can find the models and information related to it. We have a selfie point at the Naari Shakti segment.

There is something for everyone in the Railways pavilion. There is an interactive screen showing videos of Indian Railways’ scenic beauty, and an interactive quiz where you can learn more about the Indian Railways. There are also achievements of the Railways that are educational, informative, and fun for children. Visiting the Railways’ pavilion at IITF will be informative and will let you know about the new initiatives that are being taken and will also bring the progress of the Indian Railways to your attention.
