The United Arab Emirates is no stranger to architectural marvels. From Burj Khalifa in Dubai to Louvre in Abu Dhabi, it has it all. While time stood still for most parts of the world during the pandemic, UAE’s architecture continued to evolve. Many mega projects are shaping different cities, leading them towards the future.

These upcoming real estate projects in UAE are not limited to Dubai or Abu Dhabi but have expanded to the Northern Emirates as well.

  1. Dubai Creek Tower Dubai Creek Tower is the centrepiece of Dubai Creek Harbor, which is set to become the new tallest building in the world. Its construction is designed in such a beautiful manner that it may soon become a global icon. While it is rumoured to be a whopping 1300 metres long, its construction company and the government are yet to finalise its completion date. 
  2. Museum of the Future It is one of the most ambitious real estate projects in progress in Dubai. HH Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum – VP and PM of UAE, Ruler of Dubai – describes the museum as a global engineering icon and the most innovative building of the future. The museum’s exterior consists of 1024 pieces manufactured by automated robotic arms. The museum will also serve as an architectural landmark and a tourist destination.  
  3. Snow Abu Dhabi Spread over 12,500 sqft, a snow adventure park in Abu Dhabi is set to open in 2021. It is an ongoing construction project within the Reem Mall. Sno Abu Dhabi will have a -2 degrees temperature maintained throughout the year. The official date for its opening has not been announced yet.
  4. Mohammad Bin Rashid Library Designed in the form of an open book, the Mohammad Bin Rashid Library is spread over a 66,000 sq metre area. This 7-storey building is located in Jaddaf – located on the edge of Dubai Creek. The building is set to become a cultural icon and a landmark upon its completion.
  5. Reem Mall One of the exciting futuristic real estate projects in UAE is Reem Mall. Located on Reem Island in Abu Dhabi, this project is the World’s First Omnichannel Mall that will offer a mix of digital and traditional shopping experiences. Reem Mall will be the first and only architectural marvel that will be digitally enabled.
  6. Yas Bay Located on Yas Island, Yas Bay will cater to its residents seeking a luxurious lifestyle. It will boast a range of elegant residences, high-end commercial space, parks, and many other real estate luxuries. Yas Bay is also set to include a massive arena, beach club, creative hub, and waterfront pier. Hilton Yas Bay will also be a prominent feature consisting of a floating beach.
  7. Al Qana Another entry to the real estate projects in UAE is Al Qana that is set to add an extravagant entertainment scene to the sprawling life of Abu Dhabi. It is projected to complete in 2021 and opens for the public in the same year. Al Qana will be a mega waterfront area and a range of tourist attractions. From fitness facilities to world-class dining and a luxury marina, Al Qana will have it all.
  8. Hyperloop Hyperloop UAE is set to revolutionize the way people travel in the Gulf region. At super-fast speeds, Hyperloop is expected to reduce travel time and cover Abu Dhabi and Riyadh in 48 minutes, Riyadh to Jeddah in 46 minutes, and from Jeddah to Neon in 40 minutes. It is also an addition to the long list of ambitious real estate projects in UAE that are set to define the future.
