Vijayanagar, Bengaluru: Locality overview

Vijayanagar is a well-developed residential neighbourhood in South-West Bengaluru that was named after the Vijayanagara kingdom, which existed in South India during the 15th and 16th centuries. It is flanked by notable neighbourhoods like as Rajajinagar, Basaveshwaranagar, Nagarabhavi, and Attiguppe. Mysore Road, Magadi Road, and the Outer Ring Road go through the area (ORR). Chord Road, another key thoroughfare, travels through the neighbourhood. Vijayanagar’s principal sub-cities are Govindrajnagar, RPC Layout, BCC Layout, Remco Layout, Attiguppe, and Saraswathi Nagar.

World Trade Center and Global Village Tech Park are two important IT clusters located within 8-12 kilometres. Small-scale and car industries are located 10-12 kilometres distant on Mysore Road, Rajajinagar Industrial Area, and Peenya Industrial Area. Within 5 kilometres, there are several well-known schools, hospitals, retail businesses, and restaurants. The neighbourhood is home to Karnataka’s largest public library as well as the Karnataka Haridasa Scientific Research Center. The Vijayanagar market is a good spot to go for regular shopping. GT World Mall, Mantri Square Mall, Lulu Mall, and Orion Mall are all nearby malls.

Connectivity Index: Magadi Road, Mysore Road, and Chord Road link the area. Vijayanagar has excellent public transportation options, including BMTC buses, taxis, automobiles, and the metro. Majestic is served by bus route series 61, which links Vijayanagar to Kempegowda Bus Station and Sangolli Rayanna Railway Station. MG Road and Brigade Road are both 12 kilometres distant. Vijayanagar is served by three metro stations. Metro Stations: Balagangadharanatha Swami, Hosahalli, and Attiguppe.

Service on the Purple Line is now operating up to Baiyappanahalli. The eventual extension of the road to Whitefield is predicted to considerably increase Vijaynagar’s real estate potential. Yeshwanthpur Junction and KSR Junction are the nearest train stations. The Kempegowda International Airport is 40 kilometres distant.

Vijayanagar has experienced both vertical and horizontal expansion throughout the years. Approximately 38% of the properties listed on Magicbricks are multistory flats, with 3 BHK being the most popular room arrangement.

Civic Concerns: This community’s citizens confront no serious civic issues. Two difficulties include footpath encroachment in the Hosahalli market area and clogged interior roadways.

Finally, the spike in real estate demand in Vijayanagar may be due to its great road and metro connectivity, calm residential setting with adequate social and retail amenities, and closeness to the Central Business District districts, including Majestic and MG Road.
