Yeida releases a projected master plan for the Noida airport in 2041

An ‘aerotropolis’ with industrial residential zones is set to be built over the Noida International Airport, it was announced on Monday. The remark was made on the vestiges of Delhi’s Aerocity, which were uncovered on March 7 as part of the location’s Master Plan 2041.

Within the Master Plan 2041 of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority, an “ultra-contemporary-day city” and a sports activities area with Olympic-stage centers are also envisioned (YEIDA).

In western Uttar Pradesh, YEIDA oversees land along the Yamuna Expressway.

According to authorities, the Master Plan 2041 might cover parts of the Gautam Buddh Nagar and Bulandshahr districts surrounding the upcoming Greenfield Noida Airport.

The master plan was organized by consulting firm MARS Planning & Engineering Services and presented to senior executives of YEIDA, including CEO Arun Vir Singh and Additional CEO Shailendra Bhatia, in the auditorium room.

“It became known through the consultant during the presentation of the Master Plan 2041 that the territory across the projected worldwide airport might be advanced as Aerotropolis,” YEIDA said in a statement.

“At the same time, an offer for the development of an Olympic Park and Olympic Village inside the Master Plan was made,” it said.

The master plan also includes a golf course, an important commercial business hub, warehouses, and logistics facilities, according to the YEIDA, an initiative of the Uttar Pradesh government.

In addition, industries and low-cost housing projects for business people might be developed within the vicinity of the airport, according to the statement, while new residential sectors have also been recommended by the representative company.

“The YEIDA CEO has also asked the representative to include ideas like Zero Carbon Footprint in the Master Plan so that the location may be promoted as a ‘Smart City project,” says the statement “it was stated

On the development of Aerotropolis, Additional CEO Shailendra Bhatia noted that the concept is similar to the Aerocity near Delhi airport, but on a greater scale. “Like a city, it will grow bigger.” Aerocity in Delhi is mostly used for resorts and industrial purposes, with no residential space. There may be industrial as well as residential hubs in Aerotropolis. It might be a multi-purpose hospitality industry “Bhatia said to PTI.

He speculated that the Aerotropolis may be on the opposite side of the airport, with the Yamuna Expressway flowing through it. The Noida International Airport, which is around 75 kilometers from Delhi, is undergoing construction. According to authorities, the first flight from the Greenfield airport is expected in 2024.
