Manjula Somashekar FOUNDER AND PRINCIPAL ARCHITECT Manjula graduated from UVCE, Bengaluru, with a Bachelor Degree in Architecture in 1990. She started her career with Rathi Associates and later moved to Venkataramanan Associates (VA) as an Associate Architect and then became one of their Senior Project Architects. During her 10 years at VA, she worked on several types of projects including residential, commercial and mixed-use developments of varied sizes and scales. Her passion for design and sheer commitment, allowed her to simultaneously balance work at VA and her home office. Paying close attention to the specific needs of clients she strives to develop strong personal relationships with them. Today, with her multi-disciplinary experience of three decades, leadership, creative and technical skills, she heads the group with a gracious smile. Suresh CR CO-FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR Suresh has a vast 3 decades of experience in land acquisitions and real estate holdings. He has to his credit some of the finest land parcels in the North of Bangalore. His contribution to Bangalores real estate is invaluable for the hundred’s of home buyers. Suresh’s invaluable experiences of integrating building practices with the real estate market ensures that Artismo always maintains the highest possible standards. He believes that customer satisfaction and effective management is imperative to the business growth and success. Basanth Kumar CO-FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR Basanth, graduated from BMS College of Engineering, Bengaluru with a Telecommunications Engineering Degree and later became a certified Program Manager from the world-renowned Stanford University. He has worked with many multi-national companies like Sony Ericsson, Logica, Qualcomm, WIPRO, Motorola before joining Pragathi as one of the Partners. His attention to detail, strong organizational skills and managerial expertise have helped in the group’s progress. Having travelled extensively around the world and experienced diverse cultures, he brings innovative fresh ideas on board. He believes that every day is a new day and there is so much more to learn and discover. It is this inquisitiveness that keeps him young and going, he says with a grin. Murali Gurappa CO-FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR Murali graduated from the BDT Engineering College, Davanagere with a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science. He joined the group in 2003 as an entrepreneur after working in the advertising industry with some of the eminent names in the country. Over the last 2 decades, he has been comprehensive in managing the finances of the company and execution works on site. His independently acquired expertise in construction industry techniques and methods has elevated the group to a higher level. With his mixed interests and easy-going nature, he can spark-off a conversation with anyone, anytime, making him a favorite even among people who don’t know him close enough. He became a Partner of the group in 2010.
